Painting Table - A Lone Tigger

This Tiger is the last thing on my "active" paint table. Only thing holding me up is the fact I do not have any Normandy patterns to paint it. Any ideas?

  1. Check out one of the FOW books. They are useful for painting guides.

    1. Thank you Chris. FOW does some great painting guides.

  2. Always lovely to see a big cat. I am partial to doing the ambush pattern for my late war German armour, though in reality, considering that most crews spent the day hiding from fighter bombers and doing essential maintenance in between shellings and bombings, I suspect that the actual camo patters were pretty rudimentary, depending on paint the QM could find and what they had on hand to apply it with (a brush, maybe an old mop). Make it pretty all the same, is my motto.

    1. I have also heard of the late war crews painting with brooms.
